Mission

SOGHU is the non-profit organization recognized by RECYC-QUÉBEC to manage, on behalf of its members, a collection, processing and awareness program for buyers and users of targeted productsin an efficient and responsible manner from an economic, environmental and social perspective, all in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The objective of the program is to give a second life to used mechanical maintenance products and to participate in the effort to protect the environment.

SOGHU wants to be recognized by its members, the appropriate authorities and its employees, both in Quebec and elsewhere in Canada, as a leader in the management of a collection, processing and awareness program aimed at the end-of-life products it manages with efficiency and continuous innovation, in order to ensure government, social and environmental objectives are met. 

Values

Who are we?

  • Founded in 2004 and officially implemented on January 1st, 2005, SOGHU represents a group of companies that sell the products designated by our program.
  • Over 291 members provide financial support to the SOGHU network consisting of more than 1,143 collection facilities throughout Quebec.
  • SOGHU is managed by a Board of Directors from among the members or appointed or designated, with or without the right to vote, as stipulated in the General By-Laws.
  • Continuity is assured by the presence of  general manager, Mr. Jean-François Richard.

We are proud to participate in efforts to protect our environment while giving these used products a second life.
